Job Overview
TechForcePros is seeking an experienced Senior Advanced Oracle NetSuite Analyst with at least 8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who excels in designing, implementing, and optimizing Oracle NetSuite ERP solutions for diverse business environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in NetSuite’s ERP modules, advanced scripting, integration, and customization capabilities, as well as a strong understanding of accounting, financial management, and supply chain processes.
As a Senior Advanced Oracle NetSuite Technical Consultant, you will lead complex projects, working closely with our clients to understand their business needs, design tailored solutions, and implement NetSuite functionalities that drive efficiency and growth. This position requires a robust technical background combined with exceptional problem-solving skills, project management expertise, and the ability to engage effectively with clients to deliver high-quality ERP solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Expertise in Oracle NetSuite
- Advanced Knowledge of NetSuite ERP: Utilize your extensive understanding of Oracle NetSuite’s architecture, data model, and customization capabilities to design and implement scalable, efficient solutions. Expertise in key modules such as Financial Management, Inventory Management, Order Management, and CRM is essential.
- Customization and SuiteScript Development: Lead the development of custom scripts and workflows using SuiteScript to extend NetSuite’s functionality. Design and implement customizations that meet client-specific requirements and enhance system performance and usability.
- Security and Compliance: Manage NetSuite security settings, including roles, permissions, and user access controls, to ensure data protection and compliance with client policies and regulatory standards.
2. Solution Design and Architecture
- Business Needs Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand client business processes, identify pain points, and define objectives. Perform gap analysis and requirements gathering to inform solution design and configuration.
- Technical Solution Architecture: Design end-to-end Oracle NetSuite solutions that align with client business goals, considering scalability, performance, and future growth. Develop technical specifications, data models, and integration architectures to support project objectives.
- Implementation and Deployment: Oversee the full implementation lifecycle of Oracle NetSuite solutions, from initial configuration and setup to deployment and post-implementation support. Manage project deliverables, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful outcomes.
3. Integration and Data Management
- Integration Strategy and Development: Develop and implement integration strategies to connect Oracle NetSuite with other enterprise systems, such as CRM, e-commerce platforms, and third-party applications. Utilize SuiteTalk, RESTlet, SOAP APIs, and middleware tools to facilitate seamless data exchange and process automation.
- Data Migration and Management: Lead data migration efforts, ensuring accurate and secure transfer of data into NetSuite. Develop data mapping strategies, validation rules, and data governance frameworks to maintain data integrity and consistency.
- Interface Development and Maintenance: Design and build interfaces between NetSuite and external systems, ensuring data synchronization and real-time updates. Monitor and maintain integrations to ensure ongoing performance and reliability.
4. System Optimization and Continuous Improvement
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize NetSuite performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices to enhance system efficiency and user experience. Conduct regular system audits and health checks to ensure optimal performance.
- Innovation and Enhancement: Stay up-to-date with Oracle NetSuite releases, features, and industry trends. Proactively recommend and implement enhancements that leverage new NetSuite capabilities and align with client business goals.
- Automation and Streamlining: Design and implement automation solutions using NetSuite’s workflow tools, SuiteFlow, and custom scripting to streamline business processes and reduce manual interventions.
5. Financial and Supply Chain Management
- Financial Reporting and Analytics: Utilize NetSuite’s reporting tools to develop insightful financial reports and dashboards that provide key metrics and KPIs. Support data-driven decision-making by providing timely and accurate financial information to stakeholders.
- Inventory and Order Management: Configure and optimize NetSuite’s inventory and order management modules to improve inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, and supply chain efficiency. Implement best practices for demand planning, procurement, and inventory control.
- Cost Accounting and Revenue Recognition: Ensure accurate cost accounting and revenue recognition processes by configuring NetSuite’s financial modules. Develop custom reports and analytics to provide visibility into financial performance and compliance with accounting standards.
6. Project Management and Stakeholder Engagement
- Project Leadership: Lead Oracle NetSuite implementation projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with client objectives, timelines, and budgets. Coordinate project resources, manage project plans, and track progress against milestones.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and technical expert. Provide regular project updates, facilitate workshops and training sessions, and address client concerns and feedback.
- Team Collaboration and Mentorship: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to deliver high-quality solutions. Mentor and support junior consultants, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
7. Custom Development and System Optimization
- SuiteScript and SuiteFlow Development: Lead the development of custom NetSuite scripts and workflows, including SuiteScript 2.0, SuiteFlow, and SuiteBundler, to meet complex business requirements. Ensure development quality and adherence to best practices for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- System Optimization and Refactoring: Continuously review and optimize customizations to improve performance and maintainability. Refactor legacy customizations and implement best practices to ensure system quality and reduce technical debt.
- Development of Custom Solutions: Utilize NetSuite’s scripting capabilities to develop custom solutions that automate business processes, enhance functionality, and improve user experience.
8. Training, Documentation, and Support
- User Training and Adoption: Develop and deliver training programs to ensure successful user adoption of NetSuite solutions. Create training materials, conduct workshops, and provide ongoing support to end-users.
- Technical Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation, including solution design, architecture diagrams, data models, and integration specifications. Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
- Post-Implementation Support: Provide post-implementation support to address any issues, answer questions, and ensure smooth operation of NetSuite solutions. Conduct regular system reviews and provide recommendations for further optimization and enhancement.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Oracle NetSuite certifications (such as NetSuite SuiteFoundation, NetSuite ERP Consultant, and NetSuite Administrator) are highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience as an Oracle NetSuite Technical Consultant, with a strong focus on ERP implementation, customization, and integration. Proven experience in designing and implementing NetSuite solutions, with a deep understanding of its architecture, functionality, and best practices.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in NetSuite configuration, SuiteScript development, integration, and reporting. Strong technical skills in system configuration, integration, and reporting, with a deep understanding of NetSuite security features, business processes, and reporting tools.
- Project Management: Demonstrated experience managing complex NetSuite implementation projects, with a strong focus on stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring successful delivery on time and within budget.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights. Experience with data management, reporting, and analytics, with a focus on promoting data integrity and ensuring accuracy.
